User:
Women and men between the ages of 30 and 50, with average working hours between 8:00 and 18:00. They are seeking stability in their workplaces, as well as increasing their productivity. Among their work is the attendance to virtual meetings, administrative labors and drafting and answerig e-mails.
BENCHMARKING
An analysis of competitors was carried out researching furniture to take breaks during working hours, taking into account factors like the possible number of settings, comfor, intuituiveness, aesthetics, ease of cleaning, weight, size, durability, modularity. The idea was to improve the best features and avoid the worst ones.

DESIGN CONCEPT
Generating a connection with nature recurring to the shapes that evoke relaxation and peace of mind, the concept of Godai appears: a term inside budhist japanese phylosophy that is used to name the "five elements". These are:
Chi- Terrestrial: Representing Earth's solid objects, stability and resistance to change.
Sui-Aquatic: Representing fluid things, adaptation and change. It is related to inner peace, flexibility and adaptability. 
Ka- Igneous: Representing energetic forces of the world, impulse and passion. It also represents body heat.
Fū - Aerial: Things that grow, expand and enjoy fluency. It can be represented by human mind and careless atittude. 
Kū - Empty: Considered the most powerful element inside japanese philosophy, represents going beyond everyday life, energy to think and communicate, as well as power, spontaneity and creativity.
PRODUCT
Godai is a sensory experience for disconnection and vital energy recharge. This furniture system will provide workers with four relaxing sensations that stimulate senses and bring a relaxation space in the middle of the journey. These are: ventilation, heat emanation, natural texture and body adaptation, each one seeking to evoke and connect with one of the four elements. The fifth element is represented by the union between modules and the variety of use possibilities.
USE
In order to enjoy the Godai experience, user must reach their preferred module. If it is the heat or air one, a proximity sensor will activate sensations. If on the contrary, they reach the earth or water module, it will only be necessary to acommodate and feel the textures.
Godai allows different settings through their sub modules, which stimulate an environment of socialization, relaxation and integration.

TYPES OF SUB MODULE
For comercialization and ease of assembly, each sensation module is divided in three parts (a, b, c). These are assembled magnetically, allowing different settings and layouts for the system.
TECHNOLOGICAL FEATURES
The technological components of the product were proposed, in order to make it more feasible and to validate the way relaxing sensations could be controlled by users in real life.
RELATIONSHIP TO TRAMONTINA
Godai is a product designed for Tramontina, seeking to enlarge the furniture line of the company in a business to business market.
The product has materials that are already used by the brand, such as polypropylene, fiberglass, and polymer treated wood. As well as with processes like the ones applied in the eco line, using recycled and durable material suitable for indoors and outdoors.
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Document for the installation staff and users. It gives installation instruction, ways of use, manteinance and care, ways to expand the system and sollutions to problems that could happen.
